Grocery and Distribution  Initiative

Our goal is to provide help and resources to high risk individuals in our own neighborhoods, while still practicing preventative measures to avoid further spread of this virus. As you already know, individuals over the age of 65 have a significant risk of contracting the virus. Though many businesses are currently closed in attempt to stop the spread of the virus, grocery stores and essential businesses still remain open and pose a potential threat to the at-risk populations.

As part of our Grocery initiative, we are reaching out you and other local businesses in New Jersey to see if you could share our service with your community. Our services include pick-up and delivery to the following populations: the elderly, individuals with disabilities, high-risk individuals for COVID19, and individuals who are unable to obtain transportation. This is a 100% free of charge grocery shopping service. All potential clients have the options to:

a.     Use us solely to pick up groceries already purchased online and deliver them to their home – also can assist via phone call on how to set up online grocery shopping
b.     Give a volunteer a shopping list, a budget, as well as money for the purchase
c.      Assist in picking up any essential items

To ensure the safety of volunteers as well as potential clients, all volunteers are required to wear gloves, and a mask while picking up, transporting and delivering groceries.
